First Nations, Metis, & Inuit

Our goal at Ecole St. Anne is to support all students in our school reach their full potential as learners. This includes ensuring that our Indigenous students are receiving the appropriate support to achieve all academic benchmarks, according to goals outlined in Living Waters BluePrint 5.2.

We have committed to education and reconciliation as prescribed by the Alberta Program of Studies to include First Nations, Métis, and Inuit perspectives and experiences throughout all curriculum activities. We honor Indigenous teachings at our school by acknowledging the Seven Teachings and infusing them with Catholic virtues everyday in our classrooms.

We are working to build meaningful community relationships in our school with Elders and other stakeholders to help enrich Indigenous culture, traditions and knowledge for all our staff and students.
